The Joseph family brought their bakery expertise to the Gaslamp Quarter in 1999, opening one of the district's first pizza-by-the-slice joints serving authentic New York style. For over 25 years, this family operation has fed downtown industry workers and late-night crowds craving giant 18-inch hand-tossed slices until 3 or 4 AM. Their dedication earned a Silver Medal for Best Pizza in the 2012 San Diego Downtown News Reader's Choice awards. The casual, street-side setup includes outdoor seating where you can grab a $7 specialty slice, chicken wings with three sauces, or house-made tiramisu.
