When the pandemic left Joseph Ghafouri Wehrly and Kevin Gist jobless in 2020, the duo—with nearly four decades of combined pizza experience—started selling pies from Kevin's kitchen. The weekly pop-up sold out 50 pizzas a night before TNT exploded into East Village in October 2021. Old-school stained glass lamps and a Street Fighter arcade game channel 1970s NYC slice shop vibes, while the covered, heated patio keeps things comfortable year-round. The Infatuation raves that TNT nails every style they try: Detroit, Grandma, New York, and Sicilian pizzas available by the slice or whole pie.
