Officine Buona Forchetta
About
Officine Buona Forchetta brings authentic Neapolitan pizza and Northern Italian cuisine to Liberty Station since 2017. Founded by Bergamo native Matteo Cattaneo, this family-friendly destination features two golden-tiled ovens imported from Italy (named Augusta and Sergio after Matteo's parents), firing hand-stretched pizzas at 700-1,000°F. Five-time world pizza champion Marcello Avitabile trains the pizzaioli in authentic Neapolitan technique. Signature creations include Pizza Al Metro (two-foot pie), "Sergio" with buffalo mozzarella and prosciutto, and classic Margherita. Chef-driven handmade pastas complement the award-winning pizzas. With multiple 2023 Best Pizza awards, Italian cocktails and wines, two oversized patios, dedicated kids' playground area, and industrial-chic atmosphere featuring a Fiat dining table, Officine celebrates Italian traditions in style.
